Arsenal have been advised to smash their transfer record with an £80million bid to sign Diego Costa from rivals Chelsea in a rather fanciful piece of transfer advice from Piers Morgan.

Costa looks almost certain to leave Chelsea after a falling out with manager Antonio Conte, with reports that he’s in talks over a move to AC Milan after being told he can leave Stamford Bridge.

While it’s highly unlikely that Chelsea would sell their top scorer to a rival, Morgan isn’t one for holding back when it comes to his demands for Wenger and Arsenal.
The Good Morning Britain host took to Twitter to urge Wenger to go all out for the Spain international, saying: ‘Arsenal should bid £80 million for Diego Costa. Then keep bidding until we get him.’
Arsenal could certainly do with a striker of that quality as they face doubts over the future of one of their own stars – Alexis Sanchez.
