Some big celebrity feuds went down in August! Justin Bieber got into a handful of scrapes. See a list below of just a few of the stars who got into fights with other famous people last month.
1) Dwayne Johnson vs. Vin Diesel – In an Instagram post, The Rock called out “some” of his male Fast 8 co-stars for being “candy asses,” “chicken s**t,” and not conducting themselves professionally on set. However, it was later revealed the former wrestler was referring to Vin Diesel specifically. It was also reported that the rest of the cast got angry with Johnson for publicly slamming the film’s lead, and the two supposedly confronted each other on set. Johnson later clarified on Instagram, “Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs,” while Diesel promised fans in a Facebook video that he’d eventually “tell everything.”
2) Justin Bieber vs. Taylor Swift – Bieber dissed Swift on Instagram by posting a screenshot showing him on FaceTime with her nemesis, Kanye West, along with the caption, “Taylor swift what up.” #TaylorSwiftWhatUp immediately became a trending topic on Twitter, with fans of both singers taking sides in the rift. Swiftees called out Bieber for what they considered to be a rude and unnecessary dig, while Beliebers insisted the fellow pop star deserved it.
3) Justin Bieber vs. Selena Gomez – The fight between the exes began when Bieber threatened to make his Instagram account private because fans were writing negative remarks about his gal pal Sofia Richie. Gomez commented on Bieber’s post, saying, “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone.” Bieber never actually responded to his ex-girlfriend’s suggestion, despite false rumors indicating the two engaged in an all-out war of words.
4) Justin Bieber vs. Charlie Puth – Puth seemingly mocked Bieber by contradicting the fellow singer’s tweet in which he offered songwriting advice. Bieber first wrote a post that said, “If u write music take notes from the greatest writer to ever do it Jason Boyd aka Poo bear,” referring to his friend and frequent collaborator. But Puth then offered contradictory advice with a tweet of his own, expressing, “If you write music…write from the heart. you don’t take notes, you hear them.” Puth didn’t call out his peer by name, but it seemed fairly obvious he was shooting down Bieber’s message.
