“Major League” actors Charlie Sheen, Corbin Bernsen and Tom Berenger came together for a reunion on the “Field of Dreams” movie site near Dyersville Sunday.

The “Major League” celebrities joined former Major League Baseball players Ozzie Smith, Mark Grace and Wade Boggs, along with World Cup goalkeeper Hope Solo, to play the Field of Dreams’ “Team of Dreams.”

Solo bragged on Twitter that she whacked a hit off Sheen, who played pitcher Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn in the 1989 sports comedy film.

The players also surprised Sheen, who turned 52 Sunday, with a cake.

Like in the “Field of Dreams” movie, the Telegraph Herald reported that a “line of fans stretched more than halfway down that famed gravel road.”

The “Field of Dreams” site was built by movie producers for the 1989 Kevin Costner sports flick. After production completed, the baseball field was left behind and has become a popular eastern Iowa tourist attraction. It has also been the source of controversy in recent years after the site was rezoned for redevelopment into a youth tournament complex called All-Star Ballpark Heaven.
