Gal Gadot has been reported to appear in another upcoming DCEU movie in addition to “Wonder Woman 2” and “Justice League”. Should a new Forbes report be true, the Israeli-born actress will reprise her role as Wonder Woman in The Flash solo movie which is now titled “Flashpoint”.
“Gadot is also expected to reprise her role as Wonder Woman in the upcoming production of ‘Flashpoint’,” according to the site. It goes on claiming that while this will serve as The Flash first solo film, it will also be “more of another superhero team-up featuring several additional DC superheroes.”
” ‘Flashpoint’ is currently scheduled to release in 2020. So we’ll see Wonder Woman twice this year, again in 2019, and in 2020,” the site adds. “That’s an average of one appearance every year, and it means Wonder Woman could potentially appear in as many different films as Batman will over the course of the next few years in the DCEU.”
No detail is known about the plot of the upcoming solo flick, which continues its struggle to find a director. Back when Rick Famuyiwa was on board to helm, Cyborg, another main character from the “Flashpoint” storyline in the comics, was rumored to be part of The Flash solo film.
Ezra Miller will reprise his role as the Scarlet Speedster in “Flashpoint”. Meanwhile, fans can next see The Flash and co. fighting their common enemy in “Justice League” which is coming to U.S. theaters on November 17.
