From curious cats to overexcited dogs, sometimes our furry friends just can’t help getting themselves into scrapes.
Now a Facebook page devoted to Animals In Predicaments has racked up more than 1.2 million followers eager to appreciate the joy of cats covered in Polystyrene and birds being alarmed by bananas.
Any interference with a dog’s pride and joy – its fur coat – is naturally a predicament of the highest order, including a sad Dalmatian who had his spots ‘enhanced’ to look like spiders, and a Siberian Husky who ended up with no coat after a visit to the groomers.
From a cat taking a nap in barbed wire to a canine buried under an avalanche of hot dog buns (and the pun was intended) these photos prove that one animals’ misfortune is a human’s comedy gold.

Let’s do the twist: Contortions made for a rather uncomfortable car journey for this dog
