If you’re getting impatient waiting for the Lego Move sequel slated for 2018, don’t worry, you can get your fix at Legoland Florida. The park debuted the brand-new Lego Movie 4D: A New Adventure at a celebrity-studded party on January 28, and it’s now playing there daily in the Wells Fargo 4D Theater in Fun Town, near the carousel.
The Lego Movie 4D: A New Adventure picks up where the original left off, with the heroes reuniting at the behest of a strange invitation from a new and yet very familiar villain. You’ll see Emmet, Wyldstyle, Benny, MetalBeard, and Unikitty banding together after getting drawn into a strange plot, and you’ll even be able to help the heroes. It all takes place amidst special effects like wind, fog, and water. The effects start even before you enter the theater, with interactive elements outside on the red carpet leading to the door.
Celebrities on hand for the grand opening were 8-year-old actress Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (ABC TV’s “Modern Family”), Joey Bragg, (Disney Channel’s “Liv and Maddie”), Jack Griffo (Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans”), singer-songwriter Megan Lee (Nickelodeon’s “Make It Pop”), Isabela Moner (Nickelodeon’s “100 Things to Do Before High School”), Jace Norman (Nickelodeon’s “Henry Danger”), Madisyn Shipman (Nickelodeon’s “Game Shakers”), and social media sensations The Eh Bee Family and Family Fun Pack.
