James Corden dresses as Maria Von Trapp for hilarious Sound Of Music sketch with Anna Faris and Allison Janney on The Late Late Show

He’s known for pushing celebrities out of their comfort zone with hilarious pranks, karaoke and even sketches on his CBS show.

And James Corden made no exception for Mom co-stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney as they all dressed up for a The Sound Of Music performance for The Late Late Show on Wednesday in LA, California. 

Taking on the lead role of Maria Von Trapp, the host, 39, ditched his usual suit for a nun’s habit as he wore a black tunic with a white apron over the top.

While James completed his look with a blonde bob wig, to match actress Julie Andrews’ hair in the film, as well as a pair of black jazz shoes. 

However, he wasn’t alone in wearing the theatrical costume, as both Anna and Allison replicated his costume, even down to the false hair.  

In one of the photos, James can be seen singing with Anna as they pretend to cycle along the television set outside.

While another snap sees the father-of-three appearing to replicate the iconic The Hills Are Alive pose and song with Allison.

James can be seen outstretching his arms as he looks blissfully happy, with his guest copying his movements.

However, this wasn’t the only theatrical costume for the Gavin & Stacey star and he later slipped on a lederhosen.

James appeared to recreate The Lonely Goatherd song and scene, with himself playing the main part of the puppet.

He added theatrical pink rosy cheeks, a blonde straw wig and green hat to replicate the look.

While James was joined by several extras who were dressed up as goats for the hilarious scene.

The trio were also joined Big Bang Theory actor Kunal Nayyar for the hilarious sketch.
