Kyle Busch napping on the floor becomes hilarious NASCAR joke

No one can really blame Kyle Busch if he’s a little tired.

The NASCAR driver has been on the road nearly every weekend since February, he enters the playoffs with six regular season wins and is also the father of a 3-year-old son, Brexton. None of these are easy tasks, so yeah, Busch might need to recharge his battery every once in a while.

But while doing media appearances ahead of the first of 10 playoff races this fall – the South Point 400 is Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – he lied down on the floor in what appears to be an attempt to take a nap not far from fellow driver Kevin Harvick.

Well, NASCAR’s most famous parody account, @nascarcasm, didn’t just leave it at that.

No, no – he took it several other steps farther, creating the hashtag #KyleBuschCanNapAnywhere and posting old photos of Busch lying down around NASCAR tracks. And when he ran out of real ones, he turned to Photoshop.

Even Busch’s teammate, Denny Hamlin, chimed in to share photo evidence of the napping driver, and Busch’s wife, Samantha confirmed he actually can nap anywhere.

Here’s a look at one of NASCAR’s most hilarious threads.
