Madonna’s always one for expressing how much she loves her kids on Instagram. Her feed is filled with photos of her four kids – and now she’s posted a lookalike photo proving how similar she and daughter Lourdes are.
In the photo – which she captioned “Ballerz”, Madonna, 57, and Lourdes, 19, both sport similarly shaved heads. The similarities between mum and daughter are quite uncanny. In the photo Lourdes is 15, while her mum looks to be in her twenties.
Madge is currently locked in a bitter custody battle over her son Rocco Ritchie, 15, who’s she not seen since December last year when he flew to London to live with his father, director Guy Ritchie.
Madonna lamented the custody battle on stage on her Rebel Heart tour, which finished last month.
According to TMZ, she told the audience in Auckland, New Zealand: “There is no love stronger than a mother for her son,” she told the audience. “But if I talk about him too much I might cry.”
There was confusion last week as to whether Rocco had branded his mum a “b**ch” on social media.
The Instagram account, reportedly set up by the 15-year-old, has sparked confusion among fans.
Rocco has been living in London since December
The social media account, which had the name ‘Rocco Ritchie’ alongside a close-up photo of the teen, was snapped by fans just hours ago with the biographical description: “Son of a b**ch”.
It’s unclear if the account was set up by Rocco himself.
As users speculated over whether the tagline referred to Madonna, the account quickly deleted the description – before replacing it with an angry response to the claims.
A second description read: “Didn’t intent on ‘slamming’ her. Fak off w ur bulls*** stories.” [sic]
That was later replaced with: “Lol. Privacy man,” before being deleted and replaced with: “Lol. Bulls*** stories. My chance of freedom flew.”
It’s not clear if this Instagram account was made by Rocco
According to reports, the profile picture on the account changed three times last week – with each one featuring Rocco in a close-up selfie-style pose.
While the name, profile picture, and description are public, the photos on the account are private – and it’s unclear if it’s Rocco updating the descriptions.
The judge on the custody case at London’s High Court urged Madonna and Guy to sort out the dispute as Rocco’s childhood is “fast receding”.

Mr Justice MacDonald said: “I renew, one final time, my plea for both parents to seek and to find an amicable resolution to the dispute between them.
“As I observed during the course of the hearing, summer does not last forever. The boy very quickly becomes the man.
“It would be a very great tragedy for Rocco if any more of the previous and fast receding days of his childhood were to be taken up by this dispute.”
