OKC Millwood senior lands spot on MTV after viral tweet

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sitting at a table high above Times Square, Kittakone Sirisombath looked across the table filled with plates of choice cuts of steak, lobster, pasta and cheeseburgers. He and girlfriend Destiny laughed.

A romantic dinner for two, and millions of onlookers.

Sirisombath, a senior receiver at Millwood, was a guest on Tuesday on MTV’s Total Request Live, a reboot of the popular 2000s music video show that features popular musical acts, artists and thousands of screaming teenagers who wait in line hoping for a minute of national airtime.

“It was wild,” Sirisombath said. “We were just up there looking at each other and not believing what was going on.”
