It’s the show that centres around throwing ‘stars’ into the jungle and testing them with the elements and an array of challenges.
And on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison and Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell were the latest celebrities to try their luck in South Africa.
But many viewers seemed to take issue with the inclusion of the British personalities, and headed to Twitter to slam them for not being famous enough.

As the pair made their debut on the show, hosted by Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris, some were left scratching their heads.
‘Otherwise known as “who the f…?” Seriously – you promised us actual celebrities. Some annoying voiced unknown woman & a bloke that has been living off one story for 2 decades,’ one fan complained.
Another echoed the sentiment and vowed to stop watching the Channel Ten show altogether.
‘Scraping the barrel in the “celebrity” This is where I finish my time in the jungle,’ the viewer tweeted.
‘Who the f…?’ Some fans were left scratching their heads at the British personalities’ arrival
While Vicky has more than two million Twitter followers and almost four million Instagram fans, the reality star is inherently more well known in her native UK than Australia.
Her lower profile Down Under became evidently clear in many tweets, with one puzzled I’m A Celeb fan writing: ‘Guess this is a Geordie Shore person? What are MTV’s ratings in Australia? Because last I checked, super low. First time on this show I’ve had no idea who a “celeb” was.’
‘Who is this pommy celebrity lady on #ImACelebrityAU No idea lol,’ another chimed in.
‘Who is Vicky’: While the Geordie Shore star has more than two million Twitter followers, many Aussies didn’t know who she was
British invasion! Paul and Vicky made their debut on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celeb
‘Who is Vicky??,’ another vented. ‘Surely you could have found someone who is an actual celeb above F grade.’
However, others were enjoying the inclusion of the Ex on The Beach star and pointed out that Vicky is arguably more famous than some of the personalities already there.
‘People honestly can’t be complaining that @vickypattison isn’t a celebrity?! She’s got more followers than those in camp,’ one person offered.
While Vicky had her fair share of detractors, others were left less than impressed by Paul, who has appeared in reality show Australian Princess, joining the series.
‘Paul Burrell still cashing in on Princess Diana 20 years on #ffs #ImACelebrityAU #notacelebrity #trash’ on annoyed Twitter user wrote.
‘Not a celebrity!’ Others were annoyed that Paul Burrell was still cashing in on his connection to the late Princess Diana
