Chewbacca made a special guest appearance in a video appearing on Texas’ Fort Worth Police Department Facebook page and the internet can’t get enough of this “Star Wars” hero.

In the video, Chewbacca joins dozens of new recruits in performing everyday tasks of police officers, including traffic stops and training exercises.

The lighthearted clip concludes with a special message to Fort Worth Police Department rookies.

The internet can’t get enough of this viral video featuring “Star Wars” character Chewbacca as a new recruit to the Fort Worth Police Department.

“Attention rookies! Welcome to the Fort Worth Police Department! Remember to always show courtesy and respect to our citizens and always provide professional service. And may the force be with you!” the message read.

The video’s been shared more than 11,000 times on Facebook.

Many commenters, some local and some just popping in after seeing the video on their feeds, appeared to appreciate the humor in the video.

“Even after getting a citation today, that made me laugh and feel a whole lot better,” one Facebook user wrote.
