Step aside Grumpy Cat! Po-faced hairless sphynx and its hilarious wardrobe take the internet by storm (but is it cute or just plain terrifying?)

The original Grumpy Cat shot to fame in 2012 when pictures of her scowling facial expression – caused by an underbite and feline dwarfism – went viral.

But it seems the moody moggie has competition in the shape of a hairless sphynx whose grumpy looks have already won him over 63,000 followers.

Eight-year-old Loki, adopted by Brooklyn-based couple Sara and Brent, amasses thousands of likes for each picture shared on its Instagramaccount

Modelling various outfits – from a woolly jumper to a hot dog costume – the fed-up feline appears less than impressed over the online storm he is causing, as demonstrated by a stream of hilarious snaps.
