For childless couples, there comes a time when it seems the only question you’re getting asked is ‘When are you planning on having kids?’
It can be frustrating, annoying, and even upsetting. But everyone, from aunts to co-workers, seems to want to know.
Now one young woman, tired of being asked all the time, has hit back in a clever and hilarious way.
One young woman, known as marlboroprincess, has done a pregnancy photoshoot with her dog (pictured)
The young woman said that she did the photos because people were ‘bugging’ her about having children
The woman, known as marlboroprincess, posted a photo to imgur of her ‘pregnancy photoshoot’.
Instead of being actually pregnant, the woman was photographed with her dog under her shirt to create what appeared to be a swollen belly.
‘My husband and I have been married 3 years and everyone is bugging us about having a baby. Close enough right?’ the photo was captioned.
Another couple, Abby Lee and Matt Kay (pictured), did a similar photoshoot with their new puppy
The photos are parodying couples who do photoshoots with their new baby, or when they fall pregnant
The response was mostly positive, although some people got the wrong idea about the photos, saying she didn’t like children.
‘I love kids!’ marlboroprincess responded. ‘I work with them every day, they are my little angels. I urge you! Have all the babies you want and love them and be happy!’
The young woman isn’t the first to think of having a fun photoshoot with a pet.
Ms Lee and Mr Kay did their photoshoot with their groodle, poodle crossed with golden retriever, puppy
The trend is becoming more and more popular with couples looking to have fun
Australian couple, Abby Lee, 23, and her boyfriend Matt Kay, 25, had professional photos taken by Woodlands Creative Photography and Film of their ‘new baby’ announcement.
The couple were actually announcing that they had adopted a puppy, an adorable groodle (Poodle crossed with Golden Retriever).
‘We love dogs so much, we used to offer free dog walking just so we could make some furry friends. Now we have one of our own,’ Ms Lee, from the Central Coast of NSW, previously told Daily Mail Australia.
‘We didn’t think much into the photo shoot – it was something we wanted to do for a laugh and we knew it would be humorous for our friends and family.
The photoshoot, which took two hours, included an old pram and swaddling blankets and put together by photographer Elisha Minnette.
