WAYNE Rooney was among the mourners at the funeral of ex-footie chairman Freddy Shepherd this morning.
Roo, who is currently painting park benches as part of a community service order, was pictured attending the service of Newcastle’s former supremo.

Shepherd died last Monday at the age of 75.
Among the fellow mourners at the service in Jesmond, Newcastle, were I’m a Celeb host Dec Donnelly and former England boss Sam Allardyce.
Other stars spotted outside the church included England goal hero Alan Shearer and former Toon frontman Peter Beardsley.
Shepherd was instrumental in bringing local boy Shearer to St James’s Park from Blackburn for a then-world record £15million fee in 1996.

The businessman’s impact on the footballing world was reflected by a turn-out which included dozens of the game’s biggest names.
Among those pictured were Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish and former Man United defender Steve Bruce.
