Nigerian singer, Jaywon who waded into the controversy generated by Beverly Osu’s nun photo, was dragged into an exchange of being successful in his career by an accountant who reacted to his tweet.
Jaywon had written;
I really don’t see anything wrong with what Beverly osu did. It’s left for her and God to judge but Nigerians always like to judge people once religion is involved. Leave your life and let others do their thing. the consequences is for them and not you.
Your pastors’ wey Dey collect stolen money from politicians no Dey disrespectful to Christianity?
The only thing that is bad here is the fact that bev is black. If na white girl dey smoke cigarettes with that look, would you say is bad ?
Aye ori mi ni mon je ma logba mi, eledumare lo se yi eru o BAMI. Only God got me so phyuk the haters and the industry fakers lol.
However reacting to the tweets from Jaywon, an accountant wrote;
One of the major reason you weren’t successful at music was because you have a very low IQ… Resurrect your career first
This was however the beginning of the ‘sad’ exchange between Jaywon and the accountant. See screenshots of it below;
Beverly Osu on the other hand, has been replying trolls who had a busy day calling her out over the controversial nun photo shoot, in which she is spotted smoking.
Posing for the front cover a fashion magazine is the dream of every celebrity and so was the case of Beverly Osu until certain people felt she went overboard. Beverly Osu posed for the latest edition of Taylor Live Magazine dressed as a nun while smoking, now she has been spending time replying trolls who aren’t comfortable with the photos.
“I was born a practicing Catholic so I know and take ur faith seriously. People should rather worry and pray for the hundreds of thousands of innocent victims that are rapped and abused by priests all over the world particularly over 1000 victims raped by 300 priests in Pennsylvania than worry over a photo that is a mere work of art.
“In any case, reverend sisters and fathers smoke in real life which has not been established as a sin to my knowledge. Dear Nigerians I don’t do what I do for your applause…If these images came out for a movie, will it be ok? It is funny how you all just sinned because of a beautiful artistic picture: I laugh in Hebrew MATHEW 7: 1-5,” she wrote in response to troll comments.
