Ashley Cain SLAMMED for calling girl ‘with eating disorder’ fat

If you thought Mike Thalassitis was muggy during his stint on Celebs Go Dating, you probably haven’t caught up on the first episode of 5 Star Hotel.

Because viewers are slamming Ashley Cain and accusing him of taking the word to a whole new level.

Last night, a gang of celebs took over a Greek hotel and were tasked with checking guests into their rooms, waiting on tables and organising parties.

Joey Essex took 45 minutes to take two girls to their room, Lydia Bright made a latte in a wine glass and Spencer Matthews was given a measly two stars for taking his role as front of house too seriously.

So far not great, but definitely hilarious.

And then Ashley got drunk and, out of nowhere, appeared to call one of the girls ‘fat’ in front of EVERYONE at dinner.

Suddenly turning to guest Emma, Ashley shouted across the table, “You’re definitely the fattest girl here.”

When the celebs and guests appeared horrified and Emma left the table in tears, he attempted to backtrack by saying it was a joke – but then went on to tell Holly Hagan, “It was a joke, you’re bigger than her.”

When the show aired, Emma went on Twitter to explain that to make things worse, she was suffering from an eating disorder at the time.

“No one there knew I was suffering from an eating disorder whilst on the show, but regardless of that, you should NEVER humiliate anyone or comment negatively on their appearance, it’s truly disgusting,” she wrote.

In tweets she has since deleted, Emma continued: “I was so insecure about my weight during this period of time I was so close to not even going on the show, this was when my ED was at its absolute worst and pretty much taking over my life.

“Like I said before however,  no one was aware of that but either way I hope Ashley has learned that it’s truly disgusting to make jokes about people’s appearances as you never know what that person’s insecurities are.”

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users were quick to pull up the former Ex On The Beach star.

One wrote: “Ashley cain what a vile thing to say to a girl who is a sufferer of a diagnosed food disorder. How he goes through life thinking he is credible above everyone else. And how any girl can think he is remotely attractive after his ugly personality has shone through.”

Another added: “Can’t be the only one who thinks Ashley Cain is disgusting? The way he speaks to women is disgusting and he’s not even good looking. Vile.”

A third chimed in: “Honestly no wonder so many girls with healthy figures and weight have issues when there’s w**ks like Ashley Cain.”

There were also a LOT of expletive-laden tweets that we’ll leave you to go and find yourselves.

Ashley’s response wasn’t exactly apologetic, and he took to Twitter to say: “Nah I’m savage.”

He then went on to blame how the show was edited, replying to a fan: “It’s mad what they make it out to be like lol… Me and Emma were cool the whole way through, no drama at all.”

From her tweets we’re not sure she’d agree with that, but okay.
