Despite being offered countless bribes, the sleepy pooch doesn’t even stir when owner Francis Brennan is talking to him.

In the 16-second clip, Francis can be heard saying: “Come on we’ll go a walk, walk, walkies.

From a seizure alert dog to a husky trapped in war-torn Syria, Netflix documentary Dogs is a dream for all animal lovers

Then: “Toast, want your dinner?”

But he quickly admits defeat, letting out a huge sigh and joking “state ae that” as Malcolm continues to snooze.

Malcolm’s lazy antics were caught on film by Francis’s daughter Mhairi-Louise.

Uploading the video to Twitter, Mhairi-Louise said:“My dad trying to get Malcolm out of bed. Most human dug on earth.”

The clip has already racked up almost 200,000 views and 12,000 likes since it was shared online.

And social media users can’t enough of the adorable pooch.

Ellen Dickson said: “I’ve one exactly the same thinks she’s human and wouldn’t care if she never had to go out the door.”

Another gushed: “Aahhhh. Let him sleep.”

Jasmine McGuin added: “Dog is actual me man.”
Meanwhile – commenting on Malcolm’s spot in the bed – Derek Harper joked: “Malcolm in the middle.”

Mhairi-Louise later shared a snap of Malcolm up and awake, albeit reluctantly.

She joked: “He finally got up. Still in his PJ’s though.”

We told earlier how Guide Dogs Scotland have launched a desperate appeal for puppy carers.

Potential puppy parents are being urged to come forward to raise one of four little Labradors at home for one year – and they’ve not been short of volunteers.

It comes after a Scottish puppy became a viral sensation after performing a HANDSTAND every time he ate – because of his heavy head.
