Daniel Sturridge has found out his FIFA 18 pace rating – and he’s not happy.
In an interview with FATV, alongside former Liverpool team-mate Raheem Sterling, the 28-year-old reacted to his low stat by ‘storming off set’.
Footballers in the past have been precious about their ratings – Dele Alli was less than pleased with his overall and Phil Jones was left mystified by his main stat.
But Sturridge appears most offended of all by his particularly low pace stat. In FIFA 17, the England striker’s pace was an impressive 89. In this year’s edition, however, Sturridge’s stat has fallen to 76.

Initially, the former Chelsea and Manchester City forward thinks his pace is 79, before hearing it’s actually three points lower.
“79? Don’t disrespect my pace like that bro,” said Sturridge. “76?!”

“So basically you’re saying he’s slow then,” adds Sterling.
Sturridge continues: “I’m one of the fastest strikers in the Premier League. To put 76 down is a disrespect to my credibility. It’s a disrespect to my integrity, to my name.
“No, I’m not having that.”
