Woman says she was also a victim of Alabama man linked to viral child porn video

A 26-year-old woman from Detroit claims she was sexually assaulted by Germaine Moore, who was arrested earlier this week in connection to a viral Alabama child porn video.

Octavia Slaten, now 26 years old, claims Moore sexually assaulted her and other girls when she was 12 years old, she told FOX 2 Detroit. She said her mother was dating Moore during the time the assault happened.

“His hands were in my pants and he was rubbing all over my private parts,” Slaten remembers. “Years down the line, that’s when my little sister came to me and she told me the things he did to her.”

Slaten says she told her mother but she didn’t believe her, although she remembers the police coming to her house as a teenager but doesn’t recall what happened. Finally, her mother left Moore.

“I want him to burn in hell. I really do,” Slaten says. “I want him to be tortured. I want him to feel how I was feeling.”

ALEA’s Internet Crime Against Children Task Force and Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Monday announced warrants against 44-year-old Germaine Moore. Moore, who lives in the Millbrook area, turned himself into Millbrook police about 3:30 a.m. ICAC Lt. Brooke Walker said the media blitz Monday night led to his surrender.

Moore is accused of sexually assaulting three girls both at his home in Detroit and in Alabama.

Moore is charged in Alabama with sexual assault of a child, distribution of video depicting the assault and first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Alabama.

In Detroit, Moore is charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of child sexually abusive activity, one of using a computer to commit a crime and one count of distributing sexually explicit, visual or verbal matter of a child.

He is expected to be extradited to Michigan.
